Our story
It started with a $4,200 AWS bill. A misconfigured auto-scaling group, left running over a long weekend. By the time the alert fired, the damage was already done.
We looked for a tool that would have caught it earlier — something that would actually stop the resource, not just send an email after the fact. We could not find one that was simple, affordable, and built for solo developers and small teams.
So we built BillStop.
Our mission is simple: no developer should ever lose their savings to a surprise AWS bill. We believe cloud infrastructure should be accessible and safe for everyone from indie hackers to growing startups.
